FILM INDEPENDENT FORUM 2019 Highlights

[UPDATED: 6/25/19]

The FILM INDEPENDENT FORUM made a triumphant return last weekend (albeit further west than in years past – due to a venue change to Loyola Marymount University’s campus), and SAGindie likewise triumphantly returned as a sponsor. This year’s weekend of filmmaker talks, case studies, screenings, network meetings, and more took place from April 26-28, 2019.

Things kicked off with an opening night screening of Olivia Wilde‘s feature directorial debut BOOKSMART, followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker.

There was a lot more to learn during the weekend festivities, from documentary financing to branded content to pitching. And Film Independent was kind enough to provide video of some of the events!
